GETTING TO THE SUMMIT

Air
The Washington, DC metropolitan area is served by three airports: Dulles International Airport (IAD), Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).

Rail
Amtrak offers a 10 percent discount on the lowest available rail fare to Washington, DC, from May 1 through May 10 (three days prior to the Summit start date and three days following the end date). To book your reservation, call Amtrak at 1-800-872-7245 or contact your local travel agent. Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code X37Q-923 when making your reservation. Discounts do not apply when making reservations online. This offer is not valid on the Auto Train. The offer is valid on Amtrak Regional and Acela service for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts. The offer is valid with sleepers and business class, or first class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges. 

TRANSPORTATION TO HOTELS

Taxi
From Dulles International Airport: Washington Flyer Taxicabs serve Dulles International Airport exclusively, with 24-hour service to and from the airport at metered rates to any destination in metropolitan Washington, DC.

From Reagan Washington National Airport Taxicab stands are located near the baggage claim exits of each terminal.

From Baltimore Washington International Airport: Multiple ground transportation options are available to Washington, DC, including: MARC train, SuperShuttle, BWI Express bus, and taxi service.

The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center

Driving
The Gaylord is easily accessible, located just off the Capital Beltway at the interchange with I-295. It is only a 15-minute drive from Reagan National Airport, and within a 45-minute drive of Dulles International and Baltimore/Washington International airports. It is a short drive from downtown Washington, DC, too.

Hyatt Regency Crystal City

From Dulles International Airport:

Driving
Take the Dulles Toll Road East approximately 16.6 miles to I-66 East. Take I-66 East approximately 7.3 miles to exit 75 (Rt. 110 South). Go approximately three miles. Rt. 110 South turns into Rt. 1 South (Jefferson Davis Hwy). Take Rt. 1 South to the fourth traffic light (27th Street). Turn left at 27th Street; the hotel will be on the left.

From Reagan National Airport

Driving
Follow signs to Crystal City. Take the Rt. 1 South exit and get in the left hand lane. Turn left at first light, 27th Street, the hotel is on the left.

Metrorail
Take the Blue or Yellow line to the Crystal City Station. Take the escalators from the station up to the street. Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign. The Hyatt shuttles stop at the corner (look for the White\Red Shuttle sign) every half hour. For pick-up at the Metro station, you may call the hotel directly at 703-418-1234.

GETTING AROUND

Water Taxi Services

Water taxi services will be available from National Harbor at the Gaylord to Alexandria, Virginia, and from Alexandria to Georgetown in Washington, DC. The shuttle service rates and times have not yet been determined. Learn more about the Potomac Riverboat Company.

The Gaylord is loaded with amenities and features to provide you with ample comfort and convenience. The Council is working on additional transportation options to help those who may choose to explore the Capital area. Stay tuned for those details!
