Philanthropic Advisors Network (PAN)
The Philanthropic Advisors Network (PAN) is a Council program for legal and financial advisors to charitable institutions. PAN provides professional advisors with the information they need to serve their clients better—focusing on foundation and giving program creation and growth, tax issues, and governance. PAN members include accountants, attorneys, bank trust officers, financial advisors, and investment managers.
Dues:
- Annual membership fee individual: $150
- Annual membership fee firm (max. 5 people per firm): $400
PAN membership comes with the following services & benefits:
- One-on-one assistance from Council on Foundations officers and staff.
- Inclusion in a special advisors database, available to all Council on Foundations member organizations.
- Discounts on use of the Council's Conference Center in Washington, DC.
- Early alerts and member discounts on conferences and professional development offerings benefiting your clients.
- Subscription to Breaking News, a daily compilation of philanthropy-related articles selected from regional, national, and international sources.
- Subscription to Policy Update, a Council on Foundations' publication geared toward keeping foundation representatives informed on Congressional happenings regarding philanthropy. Foundation leaders and representatives committed to educating government officials are encouraged to subscribe. Policy Update subscribers receive weekly e-mail updates when Congress is in session
- Subscription to Thought>Action>Impact, an e-journal published bi-monthly gives voice to some of the most influential leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors on timely topics. TAI offers grantmakers both - philosophical perspectives and practical advice relevant to the philanthropic field.
- Subscription to Washington Update, a periodic e-newsletter on legislative developments affecting foundations.
- Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities at Council conferences
- Opportunity to attend Council conferences with the sponsorship of a foundation client
- Council member discounts on all Council on Foundations publications.
