Andrine started her career in Accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Auditor after she graduated from Howard University in 1999. After two years of working in the field of auditing, Andrine decided this was not the career she wanted and began her path in the non-profit sector with ICMA Retirement Corporation, a company that manages retirement funds for state and local government organizations. After 5 years at ICMA, Andrine moved on to become an Accounting Manager and later a Controller at the Committee for Economic Development, a non-profit think tank.
Andrine came to the Council after wanting a more stable career. She began at the Council in October of 2011 as an Accounting Manager. Andrine is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable function in the Finance & Administrative department. She is responsible for analyzing financial transactions as part of the monthly close process and also assists with the budget process and other special projects within the group.
Outside of her career Andrine enjoys spending time with her family and building her business as a Stylist with Stella & Dot. Andrine’s enjoys sharing her love of jewelry and accessories with people she meets every day giving fashion tips and showing off new fashion trends.
