| Poll after poll shows that adequate health care is a key concern. How can foundations collaborate to galvanize public support for solutions and, specifically, expand insurance to cover pervasive and costly chronic diseases? This session will highlight a national initiative that is using local demonstration sites to build complementary education/advocacy campaigns to close the addiction treatment gap. It will explore how foundations can support data collection and monitoring, an integrated communications strategy, and a learning collaborative to make advocacy efforts more rigorous and strategic, translate local work into a national campaign, and make progress toward expanding public funding for health care. | |
