Description
Many foundations are actively involved in supporting communities in Africa as they address challenges such as health, education, gender equality, and human rights. This session will highlight five key things funders should know about how to work through the distances and differences in Africa. Participants will also learn about communication strategies and resources to better understand the local context. Panelists will offer practical advice for both new and experienced grantmakers. The session will conclude with a networking activity to help funders identify colleagues with shared interests.
