| Declining safety net programs and social institutions disproportionately affect communities of color, yet over the last ten years, grantmaking for these communities has declined. Philanthropy must become more responsive to donors of color as a way of investing in racial and ethnic minority communities and ensuring sustainability of the nonprofit sector. At this session, presenters will introduce tools and discuss strategies to deepen and expand philanthropic participation within communities of color. This session is ideal for community foundations, public foundations, philanthropic advisors, and anyone working to engage and support donor communities. | |
