Last Update: Thu, December 11, 2008
Description
While mission-related investing (MRI) has been around for almost 40 years, it has grabbed the attention of philanthropy in the last two. Foundation leaders are looking for ways to promote social change by leveraging their investments while maximizing financial returns. This panel discussion among foundation co-founders and their philanthropic advisor and investment manager will take session participants through the steps of creating an MRI policy that aligns financial investment and philanthropic mission. Be prepared for a lively discussion about what is possible when a foundation unleashes its resources to achieve its goals.
