| Philanthropy, across all sectors, has a powerful story to tell of leveraging unique assets—legacy, vision, product, people—to make a global impact on the places that matter. Story-telling is a critical skill for all philanthropists to inspire executive leadership, employees, and the public to effectively demonstrate their value. Hear from David Isay, founder of StoryCorps, about strategies for telling stories. You will also hear from different types of foundation leaders who have been successful in demonstrating their impact using a variety of media: print, video, web---to tell their story. This extended workshop will allow for break-out sessions where you are encouraged to bring your own story to the table for discussion and tools to explore different storytelling strategies. | |
