Ending Homelessness in Your Community: Funder Collaborations that Work

Last Update: Thu, December 11, 2008
Description
Homelessness continues to be one of the most intractable challenges facing our country. Progress is being made in a number of cities and regions, and regional funder collaboratives are playing an important role in these successes. Some of the questions that we’ll discuss in this session are: How can foundations tackle homelessness using an efficient, evidence-based approach? Where can foundation support have the greatest impact? How can funders and local business leaders ensure that municipal, state, and federal governments bear the brunt of the responsibility?
