Health is Where You Live, Work, Play, and Learn: The RWJF Commission to Build a Healthier America

Last Update: Thu, December 11, 2008
Description
A healthy America cannot be achieved solely through medical care. However, there are barriers we all must overcome to make healthy choices. Leaders across all sectors—including some who may not always consider the effect of their decisions on health—can help break down these barriers. This national, nonpartisan commission’s recommendations challenge leaders at every level to work together to improve the health of all Americans. Hear a presentation of the commission’s recommendations and encourage other foundations to join as partners to move toward a healthier nation.
