Description
High rates of personal and societal debt threaten the economic security of individuals, families, communities, and countries worldwide. The problem is particularly acute in the United States. Is thrift a regrograde concept or a solution for the future? This workship will discuss the role of democratic institutions in promoting thrift (building assets) or encouraging over-spending (building debt).
