  • CEO and Trustee Transitions: Managing Change

In today's nonprofit environment, boards must be prepared for the departure of the CEO and any trustees. It might be tomorrow. It might be 10 years from now. But some day, the CEO is going to leave the foundation, as well as trustees as their terms end or they have changes in their own lives.  Are you ready?  If there is a well-thought-out plan in place, expect smooth transitions. If not, departures could trigger a chaotic situation that reduces the foundation’s effectiveness and panics key stakeholders. This workshop will help leaders understand how to proactively approach CEO succession planning and trustee rotation and manage the change process.
