Please join us January 23–25, 2011, in midtown Manhattan for the Council on Foundations 2011 Family Philanthropy Conference. The conference will showcase BRIDGES—across generations, across roles, across the diverse communities in which we give, across new models of philanthropy.

We also are bridging from a traditional conference model to a refreshed, inspired, arts-infused conference experience with new ways for participants to connect with their peers and discover New York City as never before. Here is an overview of the opportunities available for our valued conference partners.

You can provide a lasting message about the value your organization places on the philanthropic community. Each of the following packages provides substantial visibility and a long list of benefits—complimentary registrations, advertisements in the final program, signage, and other related assets.

To take advantage of these exclusive opportunities to connect with the leaders in philanthropy, please contact Lya Britt, director of Marketing Services, Council on Foundations at 703-879-0697 or lya.britt@cof.org.

Jazz at Lincoln Center Networking Event: $75,000

THE can't-miss event of the conference. World-class culinary creations and the rhythms of jazz make this a fitting finale to the first day of a dynamic, arts-infused conference experience. Sponsoring the Jazz at Lincoln Center networking reception will prominently showcase your strong commitment to family philanthropy.

Technology Tools: $35,000

Family conference participants quickly are becoming more tech-savvy than many in the philanthropic sector. You can keep attendees informed, connected, and charged up by sponsoring vital technology services throughout the conference. These high-value tools include wireless Internet access in all common spaces of Family Central for the duration of the conference; power stations featuring your company's logo to allow attendees to recharge laptops, cell phones, and other devices at convenient locations throughout the conference venue; and customized flash drives to enable attendees to store valuable conference materials and notes. This pocket-size tool with your logo makes a lasting and useful conference takeaway.

Performing Arts: $25,000

This year's conference will create a dynamic new energy by integrating performing arts into the fabric of the event. As the arts sponsor, you will help create a unique and memorable experience for attendees and receive consistent visibility and recognition during the conference's three showcase performances.

Next Gen Connections: SOLD

Associate your organization with the energy and enthusiasm of the next generation’s emerging leaders. Sponsor a retreat where you'll have the opportunity to facilitate a roundtable discussion to discover what the future of philanthropy holds. You can also increase your exposure in the Next Gen Lounge and host an optional offsite reception for the 40-and-under crowd.

Off-Site Learning Experiences: $20,000

Here's the ideal package for an organization looking to showcase family philanthropy at work. Sponsors will provide participants with a first-hand look at philanthropy efforts that have had a positive impact in the New York City metropolitan area. Attendees will visit a unique location in each of New York City's five boroughs. Sponsor these informative site visits and provide a backpack cobranded with your company's logo and the Council's for more than 500 conference attendees.

Kickoff Event with Prominent Family Pairs: $15,000

Here's your chance to introduce the conference's “Bridges” theme. This rapid-fire plenary event features current and future leading philanthropists from distinctive backgrounds and with distinctive entrees into giving. Modeled on the popular TED conference presentations, the session will ask participants to share the “talk of their lives” at the family conference.

Farm-to-Table Chef's Lunch: $15,000

Sustainability is the key to the health of our bodies and our communities. This is the ideal package for an organization interested in demonstrating its commitment to health, wellness, and the sustainability of local communities. Sponsor a unique plenary luncheon featuring farm-fresh ingredients and a presentation by a top culinary expert who will be a hit with foodies as well as anyone who's watched a cooking show on TV.

Dinner and the City

Conference attendees will have the option to participate in one of the many dinners around Manhattan on Monday evening. As an exclusive Dinner and the City Sponsor, you choose to convene a group of a dozen or so family philanthropists for an intimate dinner conversation at an elegant New York restaurant, host a dinner in a semi-private area of one of our first-class partner restaurants, or design your own dinner event.
