Global Philanthropy Committee

The Global Philanthropy Committee guides the Council’s Global Philanthropy Program. The mission of the program is to enhance the interconnectedness of local and global issues, serve as a resource for information that facilitates grantmaking for international purposes, engage the Council with philanthropic organizations outside the United States, and support the development of global philanthropic networks and increase the visibility of international grantmaking. The committee develops services for members who are engaged in or interested in international grantmaking. The Committee meets three times per year, in March, July, and October. Elections for new committee members take place in April.
