Announcing the 2013 Grantmakers Salary and Benefits Report: Salary Tables

The Council on Foundations is proud to release the 2013 Grantmakers Salary Tables. This annual publication is one of the most comprehensive sets of data on U.S. foundations’ staff compensation available. The release of the Salary Tables preludes the upcoming Grantmakers Salary and Benefits Report, which will go into greater detail about benefits packages offered at the nation’s foundations and corporate giving programs. We hope to have the full report available in Spring 2014.

Vice President, Institutional Partnerships

The Council is committed to providing foundation management information that promotes responsible and effective philanthropy. These tables provide important data to the philanthropic field about the internal workings of foundations and corporate giving programs.

The Council on Foundations produces this publication in partnership with the Foundation Center, the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, and individual regional associations across the country. This year’s survey was larger than 2012’s, with responding organizations reporting more than 8,000 full-time staff members.

This report reflects the ongoing camaraderie of the field and our colleagues’ shared dedication to advancing the common good. The Council thanks those grantmakers who completed this year’s survey. Without their contributions, this publication would not be possible. Other grantmakers and the field as a whole will benefit from their contributions.

COST
All members of the Council on Foundations may access the tables at no cost. Any non-member foundations who responded to the survey may also access the tables at no cost. Any non-member foundations who did not participate in the survey may purchase the tables for $159.
