Community Foundation Atlas

We are pleased to partner with the Cleveland Foundation to promote a groundbreaking international project that will inform community philanthropy around the globe. The Community Foundation Atlas will be unveiled at our Centennial Year, Fall Conference for Community Foundations next October 20-22 in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Cleveland Foundation is inviting community foundations and community philanthropy groups worldwide to participate in a unique survey that will serve as the framework for the world’s first comprehensive atlas of the community-foundation movement. The Community Foundation Atlas is a joint project of the Global Fund for Community Foundations, WINGS (Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support), the Foundation Center and the Cleveland Foundation. The project is funded by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.

Many of you have already received an invitation to participate in this survey from Barry Knight (barryknight@cranehouse.eu) who recently reached out to more than 1,700 community foundations and community philanthropy groups. If you haven’t already, we hope you will take the time to complete the survey and add your voice to this important project.
