Join us for Philanthropy Week 2014

The Council on Foundations is pleased to announce…

Websites are live, registration is now open, and the hotel block is available for Philanthropy Week in Washington 2014!

Now, more than ever, we must protect and enhance philanthropy in America. Philanthropy has been a pillar of our society from the time of our founders. Let’s continue to educate federal lawmakers on the imperative role of philanthropy before proposals that could alter tax policy and uproot the sector’s ability to advance the public good take hold.

This series of in person and media events will demonstrate the vital role of charitable giving and its inextricable link to thriving communities. Philanthropic leaders will tell policymakers about philanthropy at work in the daily lives of their constituents and raise public awareness about the sector's successes – ranging from expanding access to education and supporting military families, to creating jobs and fostering innovation.

Make your plans to come to Washington, D.C. the first week of March!

This year’s hotel, the Embassy Suites Washington D.C. – Convention Center, is in a fantastic location. Participants should call the hotel directly at 202-739-2001 to make their hotel reservations.
