Congressional Philanthropy Caucus

The House and Senate Philanthropy Caucuses were originally established in 2007 and 2008, respectively, to inform members of Congress and their staffs about the important role foundations play in communities around the world.

For the 117th Congress, the Congressional Philanthropy Caucus co-chairs are Rep. Danny Davis (D-IL) and Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN). The Caucus provides a forum to host discussions and briefings on the dynamic role of philanthropy in society and how philanthropy participates in national policymaking and federal programs across a wide and diverse range of issue and interests.
