Thank you for joining the Council on Foundations to hear from experts on providing effective support to grantees and learn how foundations can build a sector that can weather this storm and future uncertainty.

Due to rapidly escalating health concerns relating to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Council on Foundations has decided to cancel this Legal Matters for Corporate Foundations.

Council on Foundations and re-constituted affinity group, CEONet, invite CEOs and Executive Directors of community foundations to join a virtual roundtable in response to the growing challenges of COVID-19.

This conversation featured foundation leaders who are directly engaged in establishing community funds, grantmaking and actively responding to the coronavirus crisis. We also provided an assessment of the landscape developing for public-private partnerships and shared examples of local collaborations that are naturally forming.

The FOTH Congressional Reception is being hosted by the Council on Foundations for friends of the philanthropic sector in Congress, FOTH attendees, and philanthropic colleagues in Washington. Rep. Danny Davis (D-IL) and Rep. George Holding (R-NC) will be recognized for their legislative leadership on philanthropic issues that enhance foundations’ ability to serve the greater good and to promote incentives for charitable giving.
