Opening Session

Recent research has identified untapped potential for community foundations to strengthen community by finding synergies in foundation leadership and donor engagement. This opening session will review the research, frame the opportunity, and explore some of the challenges in bringing all the resources of the community to bear on important issues.

Session: Donor Engaged Impact Investing

One of the newer and highly innovative strategies for leveraging donor and foundation resources is impact investing. This session will frame the issues, opportunities, and range of models used by community foundations. The Community Foundation of Louisville will share their experience and plans for the future.

Session: Community engaged Collective Impact

Explore another way to think about impact investing driven not only by donor prerogative, but impact investing driven by a community collective impact strategy.  Andy will explore an example from the Legacy Foundation (Lake Co. Indiana) Neighborhood Spotlight program and assist attendees with building the case for community engaged collective impact and developing a strategy trhough adaptive leadership.
