The Council on Foundations will co-host a webinar with WINGS, European Foundation Center, and SDG Philanthropy Platform on October 21, 2016.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 universal goals, beginning January 1, 2016, that will continue the work of the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs). These goals will work towards erradicating poverty around the world, while also integrating the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of sustainable development. The success of the SDGs depends on engagement of philanthropy, civil society, governments, and the private sector, and over the last few years, philanthropy has come together to develop a new platform to track funding towards these shared global goals. You can learn more about these global goals and their relevance to philanthropy on the Council's SDG resource page.
