Education Grantmakers Institute: An Education Vision for the Decade Ahead

The Education Grantmakers Institute is a biennial program offered to education funders interested in a small-group format that allows rigorous investigation of relevant and pressing issues in education and philanthropy.

This year’s Education Grantmakers Institute will bring funders to together to consider the systemic issues that affect learners from birth through postsecondary experiences. Experts in early learning, K-12, and higher education will draw out connections across these fields and look to the future of each in terms of research, policy and philanthropy. The institute will tackle intersectional issues such as equity, the economic basis of opportunity and deeper learning.

This thought-provoking and participatory program is designed to ensure in-depth discussions on funders' challenges and questions. Guided by Harvard faculty, grantmakers will join together to explore these issues and develop a vision for the next decade.
