The Council on Foundations is pleased to announce that Jeff West has been named its new Director, Corporate Philanthropy. Jeff joins the Council’s member relations team led by Paula Wolferseder Yabar to help advance the corporate philanthropy field and further support the Council’s corporate members and their charitable initiatives.
Jeff comes to the Council from the Peace Corps, where he led the agency's strategic partnership efforts with the private sector and designed and implemented innovative public-private partnerships. Jeff executed the agency’s first ever strategic partnership with a global corporation and went on to develop global partnerships with companies such as Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods, and IBM.
“Jeff’s strong skills and experience working with the corporate sector will be extremely beneficial to our corporate members,” said Senior Vice President of Membership and Development Paula Wolferseder Yabar. “I am delighted to welcome him to the Council and know he is eager to engage our members and learn more about their complex and exciting programs.”
