Annette joins the Council as Special Assistant to the President & CEO from Fairfax County Public Schools where she was an executive assistant to two school board members. Before joining the school system, she worked at Grantmakers In Health (GIH) as executive assistant and board liaison. While at GIH, she was responsible for administrative and project management support for the president and executive leadership team, GIH board, staff, and constituency. She began her career in government, first as legislative aide to Senator Bill Bradley (D-NJ), and then as the executive assistant to the Physician Payment Review Commission (now Medicare Payment Advisory Commission).
As a member of three book clubs, you could say she is a voracious reader. When not reading her next book club assignment, she enjoys cooking, yoga, and relaxing in her “empty nest” with her husband and two rescue pups.
You should contact Annette with any requests for the Council’s President or Board of Directors.
