Democracy Program Director

Carrie Davis serves as Democracy Program Director for the Joyce Foundation. Carrie manages the foundation’s Democracy portfolio, which includes voting rights and access, redistricting reform, census, and media. Joyce is an active member of the Funders Census Initiative and the Census Subgroup, and Carrie co-chairs the Census Communications Task Force.

Before joining Joyce, Carrie served as Executive Director of the League of Women Voters of Ohio and staff counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union of Ohio. Carrie holds a BA in Philosophy and a Concentration in Public Service from Albion College and a JD from Case Western Reserve University.
