Ferne Mele

Ferne Mele is a Director at the Synergos Institute, a global organization that brings people together to solve complex issues of poverty. She joined in 2007 and currently oversees the Development function and serves on the management team. She previously worked at Women’s World Banking, a global network of microfinance institutions and banks dedicated to opening access to financial services for poor women entrepreneurs. Ms. Mele holds a BA in International Relations and Economics from Brown University. She was raised in Italy and lives in New York, where she volunteers with local theater and music groups.
