Isabella Cardona is a Program Officer at the Citi Foundation, managing international grant investments across Foundation portfolios.

Before joining the Foundation, Isabella held various positions within Mayor Michael Bloomberg's administration. She led volunteer recruitment and management efforts at the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs and served as Mayor Bloomberg's official community liaison to Staten Island in the wake of Hurricane Sandy at the Mayor's Community Affairs Unit and Office of Housing Recovery Operations. In addition, during her time with the New York City Department of Education, she coordinated the free access of written translation and interpretation services for limited English proficient parents across 1,800 public schools.

Isabella holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the Macaulay Honors College at the College of Staten Island and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College’s Marxe School of Public and International Affairs. From 2011-2012, she served as a Public Allies AmeriCorps member.
