Stacie Freasier

Stacie is a social sector enthusiast who possesses a deep understanding of all facets of nonprofit management, developed over her fourteen year course of work and volunteer experience. She has served a kaleidoscope of missions in most functions at Planned Parenthood, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Foundation, the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation, San Diego State University Research Foundation, and the Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study at the University of California, San Diego. She currently sits on the board of directors for the Playing for Change Foundation, a global nonprofit that focuses on creating positive social change through music and arts education.

Her educational background includes an MA in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego, a BA in Sociology (minor in Music) from the University of Texas at Austin, and an AAS in Radio and Television from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas.

A fifth generation South Texan, Stacie has lived and built communities in Austin, San Diego, New York City, and now Washington, D.C. She thrives on music, travel, biking, and yoga.
