Pennsylvania Philanthropy Conference

The Council on Foundations hosted a two day event in State College, PA to convene foundations across the state of Pennsylvania. The conference provided participants with opportunities to network, sharpen their management skills and discuss some of the most pressing issues facing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Philanthropy holds a unique role in American society. Philanthropic leaders and foundations play a significant role fostering vibrant communities across our country. The Council supports this role and regularly brings foundation leaders together to learn and share from each other.

The Council on Foundations is hosting a two day event in State College, PA to convene foundations across the state of Pennsylvania. The conference will provide participants with opportunities to network, sharpen their management skills and discuss some of the most pressing issues facing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The first day will focus exclusively on community foundations and include sessions on donor services, financial best practices, strategic grantmaking and board development. The second day will focus on public policy issues in Pennsylvania including the state budget and all foundations are welcome.
