GEO's National Conference offers a great opportunity for grantmakers to come together to find more efficient and effective ways to grow their impact, make connections with their peers, hear fresh ideas, and ask questions related to shared challenges.

Save the Date: Tuesday, February 27, 2018 to Thursday, March 1, 2018

Individual grantmakers have more power and agency than they may recognize, especially when it comes to helping their organizations make internal changes that will lead to better results. Through our Leading Change in Philanthropy initiative, our community is exploring what it takes to influence change inside their organizations in ways that strengthen nonprofits. Our fall 2017 conference will provide an opportunity for participants to learn what works so they can become stronger advocates for and leaders of change.

The National Forum on Family Philanthropy brings philanthropic families and leadership staff of family foundations together for two and a half days of peer networking, thought provoking conversations led by the greatest thought leaders in family giving, and substantive, research-based education on the latest trends and issues impacting the family philanthropy field. More information coming soon.

Three days of interactive learning on innovative strategies and fundamentals in philanthropy. More information will be available at exponentphilanthropy.org in early 2017.

Utilizing proven philanthropy education models and CHIP's distinct methodology, this program is geared toward philanthropists, trustees, family members, and foundation professionals. All students should share a desire to integrate high impact thinking into their philanthropic activities. Along with future sessions, this course will accrue credit toward a University of Pennsylvania Executive Certificate in High Impact Philanthropy.

Learning for improvement is at the center of effective grantmaking. By taking time to reflect on your programs, identify where things are going well and where they can be improved, and fully utilizing data and evaluation as a learning tool, your organization can achieve greater impact and help nonprofits make real and lasting change in people's lives.
