Take the Lead

Collaboration allows grantmakers to leverage the expertise and resources of multiple players toward more meaningful impact on systemic problems. It can take many forms, requires time and frequently involves working in ways that run counter to how philanthropy traditionally operates. The Collaboration Conference is designed for grantmakers who have experience with some form of collaboration and are looking for ways to improve their approach to be more productive partners and provide better support for nonprofit collaboration.

The BoardSource Leadership Forum (BLF) is the nation’s largest annual convening of nonprofit board leaders. Every year, we gather more than 800 board members, chief executives, staff, and nonprofit professionals for two days to discuss the newest thinking and best practices in nonprofit governance. Through plenary sessions, workshops, discussions, debates, presentations, and networking events, our participants learn how to guide their organizations toward greater impact and mission fulfillment.

The Funders Network is a network of grantmakers who address issues of population, reproductive health, rights and justice, both domestically and internationally. Its members share a common goal: to ensure that all people have access to the information and services they need to manage their own fertility and protect and promote their sexual and reproductive health. To that end, the Funders Network seeks to improve communication, foster collaboration, increase resources and enhance the overall effectiveness of grantmakers in this field.
