2015 Year in Review

Leading Together to Strengthen Philanthropy

Friends and Colleagues,

Last December, I spoke of 2014 as a Year of Action, and it was! We began putting into place the programs, services, and staff we knew would provide value to our members. In 2015, we’ve begun to see these foundational investments pay off, and I hope you’ve begun to see how our work strengthens yours.

Our interactive 2015 Year in Review includes pictures, videos, and stories from major programs and initiatives of the last year. It provides details of important milestones we hit over the last year and highlights some of the progress we’ve made in strengthening the work of the sector.

In the Year in Review, you can see the scope of our work, and I'm confident you'll find at least one new resource to advance your own efforts.

View the presentation below and learn more about this landmark year of Leading Together to Strengthen Philanthropy.

Each and every year, the Council’s work is made possible thanks to the support, dedication, and hard work of you, our members.

None of our efforts can succeed without your partnership and insight! If you want to collaborate on any of our programs or initiatives, please send me your ideas at president@cof.org.

Since its founding, the Council on Foundations has stood for something larger than any one foundation or one issue. When leading together, we are a powerful force for good that can advance civil rights, strengthen democracy, preserve our planet, and position our communities for future growth.

Thank you for your membership in the Council on Foundations. We look forward to an even more productive and effective 2016!
