The 2020 Virtual HR Retreat: Culture, Climate & Connection in the New Work World, co-hosted by the Council on Foundations and CHANGE Philanthropy, is your unique opportunity to learn from and engage with fellow HR and talent leaders in philanthropy.

With staff working remotely and navigating profound changes in their personal and professional lives, HR and talent professionals face new challenges when it comes to building culture, tending to climate and creating connections. At the same time, our country and our world are grappling with the consequences of systemic injustice, making building an equitable organization an essential focus for leaders in this space.

The 2020 Virtual HR Retreat will provide a forum for peer-to-peer learning around these key issues. You can expect engaging, intimate conversations led by field experts focused on:

  • Building an organizational culture that supports your mission and advances equity
  • Developing practices to understand and shape how staff members experience organizational culture, especially in a remote environment
  • Highlighting best practices and innovative approaches to support connection and community within virtual teams

All programming for this dynamic convening will be curated by Council and CHANGE Philanthropy staff in collaboration with a working group of foundation leaders.

The HR Retreat is open to professionals who lead the human resources function at a foundation with 20 or more staff. The HR Summit is limited to 60 attendees. Please note that this event will sell out. Registration is first-come; first-served.

The Council on Foundations is recognized by SHRM to offer through this event Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. This program is also valid for HRCI recertification credits.

The HR Retreat is made possible thanks to our co-host:
