Organizations and sole-practitioners that support philanthropy are eligible to join the Council as associate members. This includes nonprofit organizations like philanthropy-serving organizations and for-profit entities like law firms and consultants. Sole practitioners are consultants, attorneys and advisors that are unaffiliated with any member or non-member eligible institution.

Our associate members value these benefits and services most:
Reduced pricing to attend Council convenings and summits.
Access to the Philanthropy Exchange and an array of networking opportunities.
Associate members are nonvoting members of the Council and are therefore not eligible for some benefits, including access to our Legal Resources team. All associate members are subject to the Council's non-solicitation policy.
The annual membership contribution for associate members is determined by your organization type. The Council’s Individual pricing model for associate members is reserved for sole practitioner consultants, attorneys and advisors that are unaffiliated with any member or non-member eligible institution.
