2021 Membership Week

Celebrate, Convene, Connect

This year the Council will host a series of virtual events that will offer members the opportunity to hear directly from Council leaders and peers on some of philanthropy’s most important challenges and opportunities. We hope these free events will provide connection, insight, and inspiration for the future.

Members are the backbone of our community, and while we are unable to gather in person, the Council remains steadfast in our effort to connect, engage and convene in every way possible. Together, we are committed to advancing the greater good and look forward to seeing you, virtually!

Council Legal Office Hours for Corporate Foundations & Giving Programs opens the conversation between funders and Council attorney Ben McDearmon to engage in a Q&A discussion around emerging legal questions.

Join us for the Council's Annual Member Meeting. The Member Meeting will start with keynote remarks from the to-be-announced winner of the Distinguished Service Award, and conclude with a Member Meeting where the Council's Board will share an update on the State of the Council and approve new additions to the Board of Directors.

Is your organization a new Council member or are you new to the Council community? Please join us (virtually) to celebrate you, our newest members, during our 2021 Member Week.

Ask Kathleen & Council Leaders about our 2021 - 2025 Strategic Direction and beyond! Send in your questions about the future of the Council.

As philanthropy continues to support nonprofits and invest in local communities, foundations across the country are looking beyond their grantmaking to better leverage their endowments and investments to further their mission.

Join this peer-led discussion for community foundation staff to connect and learn within the Council network.
