The sixth annual convening of any funders interested in foundation investments that support military veterans and families and lessons learned from post-9/11 community engagement strategies. The continuing challenges and the long term implications of veterans transition are discussed by these funders, and funders' roles in addressing these issues are dug into -- issues such as the impacts of the invisible wounds of war, employment and career pathways, community engagement strategies, and public policy issues driving the government's performance, investments, and services. Generously supported by the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, and May and Stanley Smith Charitable Trust.
