King Baudouin Foundation United States' Response to COVID-19

Within a couple of weeks of the upsetting news cycle coming out of Europe, it was clear KBFUS had to step up with solutions for US donors wanting to support frontline responders in Europe and Africa, two regions where we have deep ties and experience. We rolled out the European and African COVID-19 Emergency Response Funds to pool together donations for key countries, both for immediate needs and also crucial social services. Additionally, we managed a steady influx of donors with specific funding requests and we worked hard to distribute funds quickly and efficiently. Our goal was to make the process painless for our grantees who were already overwhelmed with their work.
