Reopening Strong: Reestablishing relationships. Recommitting to equity. Reimagining the workplace.
September 8-10, 2021
The 2021 Virtual HR Retreat, co-hosted by the Council on Foundations and CHANGE Philanthropy, is a unique opportunity to learn from and engage with fellow HR and talent leaders in philanthropy.
The crises of 2020 left many looking toward a future that seems to hold both promise and uncertainty. Employers and HR leaders have been required to step up in new ways to support the many dimensions of employee wellness, from occupational to physical, emotional to social. As we look to the future, and to the re-opening of our workplaces, there is optimism about a return to “normalcy”.
However, a question on almost everyone’s mind is what does “normal” looks like now? What have we learned about ourselves and our colleagues over the past year that will influence how we approach work in the future? What have we done over the past year that we want to preserve? What do we want to let go of? And what might a re-imagined work world look like?
The 2021 HR Retreat will serve as a space for HR professionals to grapple with these big questions and prepare for next steps.
All programming for this dynamic virtual convening will be curated by Council and CHANGE Philanthropy staff in collaboration with a working group of foundation leaders.
The HR Retreat is open to professionals who lead the human resources function at a foundation, with most programming targeted at those with 20 or more staff. The HR Summit is limited to 60 attendees. Please note that this event will sell out. Registration is first-come; first-served.
