Sara Mahon

Sara Mahon is the Council’s People Associate. She earned her B.A. in Psychology and M.Ed. in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Vermont. Prior to the Council, Sara worked at a nonprofit organization helping people experiencing homelessness and providing innovative mental health alternatives and is an active Board Member there. Sara has a passion for philanthropy and supporting her community at large.
Sara is originally from Washington DC and has lived in Vermont for the past 13 years. When Sara is not working, she is either hiking with her dog Zola, reading (mostly fiction), or catching a comedy show.
